The carbon brush is a component that conducts electricity to your vacuum cleaners motor, conducting it through the motor’s commutator.

After years of wear, carbon brushes need to be replaced because they are no longer conducting electricity to the commutator. If the motor for your vacuum cleaner stops running, causing a complete loss of suction, then it may be time to replace the carbon brush with this genuine replacement.

Top Tip: in most cases, two carbon brushes will be required.

Please Note: This carbon brush will only fit the motor types 44211996, 119778-00, DL21004T, DL21104T and DLC1104T. Please check your motor type before ordering and the model fit list to ensure this part is correct for your model.
